WADDINGTON --Sons of the American Legion Waddington Post 420 host its 18th annual ice fishing derby Saturday, Feb. 9 from sunrise until 4 p.m.
Boundaries are from Iroquois Dam to the Coles Creek Marina and all connecting water in between.
Entry fee is $25 per person, under 16 free.
Cash awards to paid registrants with the heaviest northerns will be announced at the award ceremony at 5 p.m. in the Waddington American Legion, 23 Fenton St. Top prize is $500, out of a total of $2,000 in cash and other prizes, based on 100 entries. There will also be $50 prizes for the heaviest perch and walleye.

Anglers may sign up at Waddington American Legion, Louisville Mini Mart, Uppstrom’ s Bait and Tackle, or at the weigh-in station at the American Legion Saturday until 9 a.m.
