A six-week virtual grief support group for anyone dealing with the death of a loved one during the COVID-19 health crisis is being offered by Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.

The online Zoom meetings start Tuesday, June 23. Those interested may also join in later meetings.

Meetings will be every Tuesday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. from June 23-July 28.

The support group offers emotional support from others experiencing a similar loss. It provided an opportunity for healing through sharing, as well as coping skills to help you navigate your grief journey.

“Participants will explore the dynamics of grief during a time of uncertainty that has disrupted normal rituals such as wakes and funerals and explores healthy ways to cope,” said Donna Trimm Calk, LMSW, Hospice Bereavement Coordinator.

Participants will need access to a computer, tablet or smartphone, and a valid email address.
