CANTON – The BlackBird Cafe, 107 Main St., will be hosting a Hootenanny as part of Canton’s Winterfest on Friday, Feb. 11 from 7 to 10:30 p.m.
Three local musicians/acts will be performing original songs and standards. Admission is free, though we will “pass the hat” after each act.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. with Mary Ann Casale performing an eclectic mix of folk, blues and originals.
At 8 p.m. singer songwriter Len DiGiovanna will take the stage to showcase his “agnostic love songs chronicling ‘the distance’ between people.”
At 9 p.m. The Hazel Pearl Band (Michael Budler lead, Dave Nelson bass and Reverend Mike rhythm and vocals) will play rock & roll and folk standards.
