POTSDAM – To kick off the holiday season, Potsdam Public Library is hosting a local brass quartet, flute-violin trio, art show, and holiday-based short story read-alouds on Friday, December 9.

The local brass quartet Broad Band and the flute-violin trio Second Act Trio will perform on Friday from 2-4 p.m. Music will fill the library stacks with both holiday favorites and some classic hits. The Little River Community School Fall Art Show will feature artwork in the library’s mezzanine classroom from 4-6 p.m. The Olders students will display a wide range of work, from drawing, photography and painting, to mixed media and three-dimensional work. Come celebrate winter with December's edition of Keeping It Short: A Potsdam Public Library Short Story Read-Aloud Series from 6-8 p.m.
