POTSDAM — Potsdam High School will host the “High Peaks Lax Lab,” a small-group lacrosse skills training opportunity for kids in grades 1-9, on July 18-21 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. each day.
Each training session will focus on individual skill and team skills for athletes in grades 1-9 (as of June 1, 2022), including shooting, dodging, footwork, defense and other skills to help players become a more well rounded lacrosse athlete.
Cost to attend is $75, which includes an HP t-shirt for those who register by July 6.
There will be no refunds once camp starts.
There is a $10 discount on the registration cost for families with more than one child attending.
Players must be fully equipped with their own stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouthguard, pinnie, and cleats. Players must supply their own water.
Camp director will be Todd Kaiser, the varsity coach at Potsdam High School and former assistant coach at SUNY Potsdam who played Division 1 Lacrosse at Penn State.
Local college players will also be on staff.
