Hepburn Library of Norfolk resumes in-person story hours, adult book club

NORFOLK – In-person Story Hour has returned to Hepburn Library of Norfolk. Pre-K kids and their families are invited to attend every Wednesday, starting in January,  at 10 a.m. for a story and craft.

During the month of January, children are invited to find Peppy the Penguin hiding in a different place in the library each night and win a prize, while supplies last.

Anime Club for tweens, teens and young adults will meet Jan. 13 and Jan. 27 from 3-5 p.m. to watch episodes of Anime and have fun discussions.

The Adult Book Club will meet Jan. 26 at 2:30 p.m. upstairs in the library for a discussion of this month’s book, available for pickup at the circulation desk now.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. and is open to the public.

Curbside pickup is available during library hours Mon.-Fri. 10 a.m.-noon and 2-8 p.m.

The NCLS online catalog is available at https://catalog.ncls.org/client/en_US/nclscat with your North Country Library System card. When placing holds using the catalog, select Norfolk as the pickup library. Library staff will call to arrange pickup once the books arrive.
