POTSDAM - Two performances of HARRY POTTER SPECTACULAR with music from the first four Harry Potter films will be presented at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23 at Jefferson Community College's Sturtz Theater and at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 24 at SUNY Potsdam's Hosmer Hall.

Young and old alike will revel in the music based on J.K. Rowling's great series of books that spawned some of the most popular movies and movie scores of all time.

Lonel Woods will introduce the works by John Williams and Patrick Doyle to be performed.

Mr. Woods is an active performer of opera, oratorio and musical theater. He is Associate Professor of Voice and teaches Private Voice and Vocal Pedagogy at The Crane School of Music.

Selections include Hedwig's Theme, Nimbus 2000, and The Sorcerer's Stone from the film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001).

Featured pieces from The Chamber of Secrets (2002) are The Chamber of Secrets, Gilderoy Lockhart, Dobby the House Elf, and Fawkes the Phoenix.

ONNY will also play A Bridge to the Past (A Window to the Past), Aunt Marge's Waltz, Witches, Wands and Wizards, and Double Trouble from The Prisoner of Azkaban (2004).

Audience members will enjoy Hogwart's March for Band, Potter Waltz, and Harry's Love Theme from The Goblet of Fire (2005). Harry's Wondrous World from The Sorcerer's Stone concludes the program.

Tickets for both concerts are going quickly, especially for the Sturtz Theater performance on Saturday, March 23 where seating is limited and ONNY expects a sold out house.

Tickets are $25 adults, $20 seniors/military, $10 college students with I.D., and free for students, 17 and younger. To purchase tickets, call the box office at 315-267-2277 or visit www.onny.org.
