NORWOOD — The Friends of the Norwood Public Library are hosting a holiday book and bake sale on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the library from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Books will be sold for $3 per bag, with bonus free books available in the Community Room.
Tasty baked goods and holiday treats will be featured also.
The Friends will be drawing the winner of the holiday raffle at the close of the sale.
The prize, which can be viewed at the Ashley House, is a fun mixture of: Santa figure, lit house, lit sparkling glass tree with bells, $50 in scratch off tickets, $100 in cash, and a $300 dollar gift certificate to the Ashley House in Norwood.
Suggested donation is one ticket for $2 or three tickets for $5.
Tickets can be obtained at the Ashley House or the library.
In addition, a silent auction will feature a framed 11x14 Digital Art piece by local artist, Kris Rozelle. Valued at $200.
All proceeds will support the many programs at the library.
