MASSENA – This year’s Summer Book Sale, sponsored by The Friends of the Massena Library, will take place Friday, June 10, and Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Donations have continued to come in since the April sale, including many newer selections.
This sale’s offerings are extensive, and include cookbooks, history, fiction, travel, textbooks, reference, sports, budget/finance, home repair, the arts, classics/literature, medicine/health, crafts/hobbies, self-help, romance, mystery, non-fiction, fantasy/science-fiction, religion/philosophy, metaphysics, biography, humor, science/nature/pets, season-appropriate gardening, ethnic/international, and books for children and young adults.
Books on tape and large print editions are also available.
Most prices range from 25 cents to $1. Come and stock up for your summer reading. Members of the friends will have a chance to preview the sale on Thursday, June 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.
New members are always welcome, and may join as active or inactive members that evening.
Membership fees are $5 per individual, $10 per family, and the membership runs from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30.
Donations of audio/video tapes, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, games, and books in good condition are always welcome, and may be dropped off at the Main Desk at the library.
