HEUVELTON -- Instructor Sean Boutin and the 70 students of North Country Tai Chi LLC are hosting a complimentary World Tai Chi Day class and demonstration Saturday, April 27 at Pickens Hall Opera House from 10 a.m.-noon.
The local event is part of the international (80-country) set of coordinated classes of the World Tai Chi Day celebration.
World Tai Chi celebrations are synchronized to move across the globe one time zone at a time. Each time zone begins their class simultaneously at 10 a.m., with classes moving from one time zone to another.
The St. Lawrence County celebration will coincide with the class in NY City’s Central Park and all others in eastern standard time.
