CANTON — A free sugaring off party will be held at the TAUNY Center Saturday, March 25, 2-3:30 p.m.
People of all ages are invited to an interactive concert with The Madstop Fiddlers to celebrate maple sugaring season.
The fiddlers, directed by Gretchen Koehler, will present fiddle tunes played in the North County for many generations.
Listeners will learn to play spoons, hear stories of French Canadian “sugaring off” parties, and learn some Ottawa Valley dances.
