POTSDAM – “Free Lunch Friday” is back at the First Presbyterian Church of Potsdam, but as take-out only, rather than a sit-down meal, due to Covid-19.
The weekly free lunches are offered every Friday from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the first Presbyterian Church, 42 Elm St.
Organizers ask that people stay in their cars in the church parking lot, and they will come to take orders. Walkers are asked to come to the back kitchen door to order.
“If you or someone you know could use a free take-out meal with no strings attached, stop by the church on Friday from noon to 1:00. You’ll find us at the corner of Elm St and Lawrence Ave,” says the church’s Facebook post.
