HOPKINTON — Swamp School is being presented at Mandaville Camp and Retreat Center by Joel Danko of the Nicandri Nature Center.
This hands-on experience is free and open to children of all ages. Attendees should dress for the weather and plan to get wet and muddy as you will be visiting amphibians in their natural habitat in the swamps of Mandaville. The event is set for Saturday, April 17, at noon in the Hemlock Lodge. For more info, contact John or Heather at info@campmandaville.org
Also, a guided walk through the Mandaville property with Henry Keller is planned. Attendees will learn about the plant life on the Mandaville land possibly even some of the animals that make Mandaville their home. This event is free to all and is suitable for children of all ages. Wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate attire. Light refreshments will be available afterward. Saturday May 15, 2021 Beginning at 10 a.m. at the Hemlock Lodge.
