MASSENA -- A free day camp program for children ages 5-13 during spring vacation, April 15-19, is being offered by Nicandri Nature Center.
The camp will run each day from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for ages 5-9 and 1-4 p.m. for ages 10-13.
The program is free, but pre-registration is required and class size is limited.
Participants will enjoy a fun week of indoor and outdoor activities centered around nature and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math).
Activities will include engineering a dam like beavers do, a nature art day, science experiments, and more.
Participants should bring clothes to go outdoors and a water bottle.
The morning group should bring a lunch.
The afternoon group should bring a snack.
