OGDENSBURG – The St. Lawrence Health Initiative will hold a free health screening for cholesterol, blood pressure, body fat percentage and blood glucose (sugar) at Walgreens in Ogdensburg on Thursday, March 29 from 2 – 5 p.m.
Karen Cole, Diabetic Educator for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, will also be available to answer questions about diabetes.
Drawings and give-a-ways will be available.
The Health Initiative encourages people who do not have health insurance to attend, but all are welcome.
If a person has a positive result and does not have health insurance, the Health Initiative may be able to pay for a visit to a doctor.
