MALONE – Two country music concerts highlight the 172nd Franklin County Fair set Aug. 7-14.

Tracy Byrd and Rodney Atkins will both be performing on Friday, Aug. 12, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 for track seats, $30 center grandstand, and $25 for grandstand.

From rural Texas, Byrd released his first album in 1993, and went double platinum with his second album the following year, according to the press release.

Hailing from Tennessee, Atkins has cut several albums and was named the top new male vocalist at the 2006 Academy of Country Music Awards, according to the press release.

On Saturday, Aug. 14, Walker Hayes with special guest Tigirlily will take center stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are $50 for track seats, $40 center grandstand, and $25 for grandstand.

For tickets for both shows, visit www.frcofair.com or call (518) 483-0720.

Hayes is an American pop country singer and songwriter. He has released three studio albums: Reason to Rhyme in 2011 on Capitol Records Nashville, and Boom and Country Stuff the Album in 2017 and 2022 on Monument Records. Hayes has charted multiple singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts; his highest-peaking is "Fancy Like", which reached the number one position on both charts between late 2021 and early 2022.

In Feb. 2021, Tigirlily went viral teasing a new song, “Somebody Does” on their socials. Upon its release, “Somebody Does” debuted at #1 on the iTunes all-genre charts, and has since been streamed over 4 million times and has been featured on the Bobby Bones Show and Rolling Stone Country.
