CANTON -- The Fostering Futures of St. Lawrence County Therapeutic Foster Care Program will host four foster parenting informational sessions at various locations throughout St. Lawrence County.
The first session will be held Tuesday, March 5 at the Potsdam Town Offices, 18 Elm St.
The next session will be Tuesday, March 12 at the United Methodist Church, 34 Grove St., Gouverneur.
The third session will Wednesday, March 20, at Seaway Youth for Christ, 31 David St., Ogdensburg.
The fourth session will be held on Thursday, March 28 at the Human Services Center, 80 State Highway 310, Canton.
All sessions will begin at 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend whichever session is most convenient for their schedule.
Anyone interested in learning more about foster parenting, adoption, respite services and the Fostering Futures of St. Lawrence County Therapeutic Foster Care Program is welcome and encouraged to attend any one of the sessions.
In an informal, casual setting, the sessions will offer opportunities to ask questions and speak with the Foster Care Program staff.
Light refreshments will be served.
Foster parenting training classes will begin in Canton on Thursday, April 4, and continue for ten weeks thereafter.
