MASSENA -- The Massena Farmers and Artisans Cooperative Market will begin on July 11, and run through Oct. 27.

Massena Memorial Hospital and Tractor Supply co-sponsor the Massena Farmers Market and will host the event on different days weekly, rain or shine.

On Mondays, the Massena Farmers Market will be set up at Massena Memorial Hospital from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. near the front entrance.

Tractor Supply will host this event two days a week, Thursday and Sunday. The Farmers Market will be open from 2-6 p.m. on Thursdays, while Sunday hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Items that will be available include fresh produce, artisan crafts, eggs, meat, herbs, baked goods and more as the season progresses.

All community members are welcome, and various payment methods will be accepted at the Farmers Market. These forms of payment include EBT, debit, credit, SNAP and cash. St. Lawrence Garden Share is also offering the SNAP nutrition Program, Double Up Food Bucks. For every $1 you spend, you will receive a $2 silver token to use to purchase additional produce.
