MADRID – The St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum, Co. Rt. 345, will present its 29th Annual Gas & Steam Engine Exhibition Saturday and Sunday, June 11-12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Both days will offer working displays of antique gas and steam engines, antique tractors, cars & trucks, wagon rides, saw milling.

In addition, there will be crafts, attic treasures sale, early textile demonstrations, along with museum displays in the collection building, shoe repair (cobbler) shop, farmhouse, maple producers' sugarhouse, and more.

Food for purchase includes breakfast, baked goods, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, and fries.

Saturday's events include a miniature horse pull at 10 a.m., draft horse pull at 1 p.m., old iron auction at 2 p.m., spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. and music by Pure Country from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Sunday's events will feature an antique tractor pull beginning at 10 a.m. along with pony rides from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids' pedal tractor pull at 1 p.m., a barbecue chicken dinner beginning at noon and much more.

Admission is $4 for 12 and older, children under 12 free.

Vendors (no food), crafters, and exhibitors welcome. Must be museum members and have sales tax certificate.
