POTSDAM -- During an Everlasting Flowers & Herbs Workshop at noon on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the Potsdam Farmers Market, Valarie Hallett will share a multitude of tips and techniques to help others properly dry flowers, culinary herbs and wildflowers to use as natural health remedies, aesthetic displays, or to spice up their foods naturally when cooking.
Participants are encouraged to bring flowers, cooking herbs or wildflowers from their own gardens that they wish to dry - for themselves or as gifts. A suggested donation of $10 to $20 on sliding scale and $5 for students is requested and covers all workshop materials.
Scholarships are available when you RSVP. To sign up for the workshop contact 347-4223 or email SustLivingProject@gmail.com.
