MASSENA – For its 10th year, Droppin' the Gloves on Cancer takes place at the Massena Arena for three games Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The event is a women's and co-ed hockey tournament in support of women's cancer initiatives in the North Country.

Six teams will battle over the weekend to not only win the tournament in their respective divisions but also put a spotlight on cancer in our area.

Games start on Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at noon, and Sunday at 9 a.m. Admission is free to all games.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, a raffle table, and the WB Goodnow Honor Jerseys Section.

All are welcome to catch some competitive adult hockey, to honor a loved one by sponsoring a jersey or to buy a raffle ticket.

All proceeds will be used to purchase two new ultrasound tables for the Medical Imaging Department at Massena Memorial Hospital.
