POTSDAM – Grasse River Players, in partnership with the Clarkson Theatre Company, present the controversial drama “Doubt, A Parable,” by John Patrick Shanley, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 19 and 20, at 8 p.m. at the Downtown Snell Hall Theatre, 41 Elm St.

This Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play is directed by Jennifer deCoste, and features the local dramatic talent of North Country residents Dorothy Mallam, as Sister Aloysius; Todd Moe, as Father Flynn; Julia Ferreri, as Sister James; and Dominique Paul, as Mrs. Muller.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $8 and are general admission.

Set in 1964, the play chronicles the struggle of Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principle, in her pursuit of truth and justice regarding a young Father Flynn and the suspicious relationship he has formed with one of his pupils.
