POTSDAM — Registration is now open for the dragon boat races planned in Hannawa Falls at Postwood Park later this summer.
The 2022 Racquette River Dragon Boat Festival, slated for July 16 will feature dragon boating, competitions and other activities, including a craft show, live music and food trucks.
Organizers have released fliers with QR codes to scan for more information or to register to compete.

The deadline to register is May 30.
There is no cost to register. Once registered, a participant can click on the individual or team to make a pledge. Organizers encourage a minimum of a $50 pledge per person to participate in the race.
Proceeds from the festival support mission trips, health initiatives, community service outreach and health education within St. Lawrence County.
There will be prizes for individuals as well as teams with the top pledges. Exceeding the minimum pledge is encouraged and supported.
