POTSDAM — The North Country Poor People’s Campaign will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the Potsdam United Methodist Church, 26 Main St.
The public is invited to attend this free event and join in a discussion of Dr. King’s life, philosophies, accomplishments and inspirations, and learn about the movement he started: The Poor People’s Campaign.
A light meal of soup, bread, beverages and dessert will be served.
