CANTON – Danny Gotham and Barb Heller will play their 24th annual benefit Holiday Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the Unitarian-Universalist Church, 3 1/2 E. Main St.
Proceeds from this year’s concert will support the church’s Caring Fund, which provides financial help for members and friends experiencing unexpected emergency needs.
Donations will be accepted at the door.
Danny Gotham now lives in North Carolina where he has an active musical life, but he was born in Potsdam and maintains close ties to the North Country. A former host of NCPR’s “String Fever,” he was a founding member of the Racquette River Rounders in the late ‘70s.
Barb Heller is a well-known singer-guitarist who performs frequently in venues throughout the North Country. She can be heard every Thursday afternoon on NCPR as the long-time popular host of “String Fever.”
