POTSDAM -- The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam will present solo pianist Hannah Gruber in a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, in Hosmer Concert Hall, SUNY Potsdam.
The recital features two world premieres, composed by Crane faculty member Dr. Tim Sullivan and Crane alumnus Brian Vlasak, respectively.
Sullivan's "Wayward Suite" is a brand new composition consisting of six movements.
Vlasak's "Gesticulations I" was written in 2008, but has yet to be performed.
Also included in the program are "Teeny Tango" by Stacy Garrop, "Study in C(ows)" by N. Cameron Britt, "Prelude Djupstrom" by Michael Djupstrom and "Three Etudes" by Whitney Ashe.
This concert is free and open to the public.
