POTSDAM – If you are interested in becoming certified in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, the American Red Cross of Northern New York is offering the course from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Red Cross office, 73 Market St.
This course teaches those with a duty to act (professional rescuers, healthcare providers, lifeguards) the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. The fee is $65, pre-registration and pre-payment required. The instructor is Sheila Cerwonka.
