CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County is offering a Poultry 101 webinar on Wednesday, April 29 at 7 p.m.
Feed stores are reporting an increase in chick orders and more sales of chicken feed. Families that feel like they want some control over their food sources and looking for a family project are starting to raise their own poultry.
Before rushing into raising chickens for eggs or meat, join the Extension for the webinar and find out what is involved.
The webinar will cover appropriate breeds, brooding, care and feeding and processing. It will be offered by Betsy Hodge, Cornell Cooperative Extension Livestock Educator over Zoom.
