CANTON -- The SLC People Project in association with the Institute For Learning Centered Education presents the program "Converging Crises: Poverty & Trauma" on Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence University.

The event will feature discussions and presentations about radical strategies for supporting people living in poverty and/or experiencing trauma.

Educators, administrators, healthcare providers, elected officials, local organization representatives and community members are invited.

Attendance costs $15 per person. Scholarships are available upon request.
