MORRISTOWN -- Residents of the Town and Village of Morristown are encouraged to come to a public meeting on Tuesday, July 16 at 6 p.m. at the Brier Hill Fire Hall, 2680 State Highway 37 to discuss the community’s comprehensive plan.
The St. Lawrence County Planning Office is preparing a comprehensive plan for Morristown to help guide the future growth and development of the community.
The Comprehensive Plan development process has been under way for several months, with two input sessions previously held in November 2018 and April 2019.
The July meeting is intended to allow an opportunity for seasonal residents to have input on the plan.
Planning office staff will summarize work done to date and ask attendees to share what they would like Morristown to look like in 10 years.
For additional information contact Supervisor Frank Putman at 315-783-4790, Mayor Cheryl Shatraw at 315-375-8844, or Jason Pfotenhauer of the St. Lawrence County Planning Office at 315-379-2292.
