COLTON – The 11th annual Colton 10-Mile Road Race will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, from the Colton-Pierrepont School cafeteria, State Rt. 56.
Registration fee is $35 if you would like one of the navy blue long-sleeve technical shirts – there is a limited supply – or $12 without the shirt.
Race day registration starts at 7 a.m. at the school.
The paved course will be accurate, well marked and well marshaled.
There will be lots of trophies for the fastest finishers. The top five in seven age groups – 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, and so on up to 70-plus – all get trophies.
Showers at the school will be available. There will be light post-race refreshments.
It will also be the weekend of Colton Winterfest, so there will be a pancake breakfast in town, and a health fair and craft fair at the school.
