OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will be sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, in the auditorium.
The American Red Cross has difficulty keeping enough blood in their inventory to properly supply all of the medical facilities that need it. I
All blood donations are important but a double red cell donation is special because with this technology you can safely give twice as much blood in just one visit.
If you have Type O or Type B blood and donate three or less times a year, and you meet the eligibility criteria, then you have an opportunity to make twice the difference.
Those eligible and interested in a double red blood cell donation will be able to donate at the blood drive.
