POTSDAM -- In honor of Veterans Day on Thursday, Nov. 11, the Clarkson University Athletic Department will be holding a Support Our Troops weekend at Cheel Arena on Nov. 12 and 13.

Fans attending the Golden Knights men's and women's hockey games that weekend are asked to bring an item to donate in support of our troops overseas.

Items to bring include hard candy, gum, Slim Jims, nuts, sunflower seeds, word search and crossword puzzles, erasable ink pens, mechanical pencils, high spf chap stick, shampoo and conditioners (any size), toothbrushes, toothpaste, body powder – but no aerosol products.

Donated items will be presented to Ladies AMVETS Auxiliary 265 of Parishville for shipment to our troops.

On Friday, Nov 12, Clarkson's women hosts Syracuse University at 3 p.m. followed by the men's ECAC hockey contest against Dartmouth College at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 12, the men face off against Harvard University beginning at 7 p.m.
