POTSDAM — Cinema 10 continues its Spring 2023 season on Monday, March 27, with a screening of EO, a 2022 Polish film directed by Jerzy Skolimowski, at 7:15 p.m. at the Roxy.
EO is a mysterious and emotionally poignant vision of modern day Europe as seen through the eyes of a donkey, said a press release from the series.
The eponymously named film follows circus animal, EO, as he traverses the countryside and encounters all manner of people, who instill joy, pain, and everything in between.
It's a tale that Donald Clarke of The Irish Times calls "a unique mix of the absurd and the profound." EO was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 2023 Academy Awards.
The 2022 film from Poland is 86 minutes and not rated. The movie contains instances of animal cruelty.
General admission: $5.50 for individual and $45 for season tickets.
