POTSDAM – Cinema 10 continues its Spring 2012 season Monday, Feb. 20 with a showing of Road, Movie, a 2009 film about a transforming journey across Rajasthan.
Films are shown on Mondays at 7:15 p.m. in the Roxy Theater, Main St.
Tickets are $4.50 general/$35 season or $3.50 student/senior/$25 season.
To escape his father’s hair oil business and the small city where he lives, restless young Vishnu jumps at the chance to drive an old truck (and traveling cinema) across the beautiful and barren deserts of Rajasthan to the sea, supposedly selling some hair oil along the way.
He picks up passengers along the way as Vishnu’s journey transforms itself into a life-long odyssey that will change each of the film’s characters.
