CANTON – A Christmas tree growers’ winter workshop will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, from 2-7 p.m. at the Cooperative Extension Learning Farm, 2043 State Highway 68.
The workshop will focus on grower information, marketing best practices, collaboration opportunities, pest management, Extension services and more.
Open to Christmas tree Farmers, and anyone else interested in growing Christmas trees.
Attendees will earn one NYSDEC Pesticide Credit in categories 1a, 2, 10, 3a and 25.
The event is free, and includes light supper, but pre-registration is required at stlawrence.cce.cornell.edu or 315-379-9192.
