CANTON – Canton Free Library’s annual Book, Bake and Craft Fair will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Paige Room on the lower level of the library.
Home-baked goods, including pies, cookies, bread and candy, hand-crafted items, and gently used books will be for sale.
Copies of the new children’s board book, “Sweet Dreams,Canton,” will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Friends of the Canton Free Library organization. The book was written by Elizabeth Mazzotta, a Canton native, and illustrated by Abrinel Seeger, a 2019 graduate of Canton Central School.
Also available will be the Friends’ McCarthy’s Cookbook and raffle tickets for the Hometown Holiday basket.
Vendors include: Ann Bennett, who sells gift baskets, herb mixes, crafts and wreaths; JoAnn Roberts who sells roasted nuts and candies, Missy Bender of Miss D's Alpacas and Donna Schaab of Jewelry by Donna offering jewelry crafted from precious metals and stones. Space is available for additional vendors.
This annual event is a great chance to shop for the holidays while supporting local artists and your local library.
