CANTON – The Canton Garden Club of the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. is planning a Saturday, March 5 trip to the Syracuse Garden Club show to hear Kerry Ann Mendez speak on Blue Ribbon annuals, perennials and shrubs.
As a garden consultant, designer, writer, teacher and lecturer, she focuses on timesaving gardening techniques and workhorse plant material as well as organic practices.
The cost of the show is $8 and the cost of the bus will be $40 but will be less if more than 30 people sign up to go. Call Jane Semples at 379-9523.
The bus will leave at 8 a.m. at the Price Chopper parking lot. There will be light refreshments on the bus going down and coming home. Lunch may be purchased at the show. The hostesses will be members of the Program Committee.
