CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County will host a free webinar titled "Get Seen Online: Ten Tips For Your Food Business" on Friday, May 1 from 10 a.m.-noon.

Does your business have an internet visibility problem? Here's some clues:

• You get almost no traffic to your website.

• Typing in "sandwiches potsdam" does not bring up your Potsdam based sandwich shop.

• Your social media followers or email list subscribers have been at a standstill.

• When you introduce yourself to people, they don't seem to have heard of your business before.

Being more visible online doesn't have to cost a lot of money or take a lot of time. It helps to have some tips to make it feel like 'I see your business everywhere!'

Webinar hosts will talk about strategies to increase visibility (for free or affordably) and touch on topics like search engines, social media marketing, business listings and other aspects of internet marketing.

By the end of this webinar, participants will have an action list ready to go for their business.

Once registered, you will be sent an email with the link to join the webinar.
