POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam women's basketball team is holding a can and bottle drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 19. There will be a trailer, furnished by NCC Systems, set up outside of Maxcy Hall to drop off bottles and cans.
Players and staff will be present to help unload bags and provide assistance.
The money raised will be used for scholarships to the annual Potsdam Summer Basketball Camp, as well as to support the basketball program.
To schedule a home pickup for Sat., Oct. 19 or Sun., Oct. 20, contact coaches Brittany Cohen (315-559-4943), Michael Busby (315-767-9466) or Michael Martin (315-212-0946). Donations will also be accepted.
The Bears open up their 2019-20 campaign against Cazenovia College on Friday, Nov. 8, in the first round of the SUNY Canton Kevin Fee Roos Classic.
