ROOSEVELTOWN – A bullhead and pork dinner benefit will be served May 5 at Cedarview Golf Course, 462 NYS Hwy. 37C, to benefit a Brasher Falls resident battling esophageal cancer.
The dinner to benefit Steven Deshane will begin at noon and serving will continue until all is sold. Cost will be $10 a plate.
Disc jockey Tim Gray will provide entertainment.
A Chinese auction and raffles are also planned. A recliner, cord of wood, one load of top soil, Keurig coffee machine, adult and kids ugly sticks fish poles and tackle, Choc chixs basket, $500 and $50 gift certificates, two coolers, a Lotto tree, and a liquor basket are among many more items be raffled off. Everyone is welcome to show their support.
Deshane is undergoing six weeks of treatment at Roswell Park Cancer Treatment Center in Buffalo. He will need to stay in the Buffalo area for the duration of his treatment and the money raised will help him and travel and living expenses while in Buffalo.
