WINTHROP — The Brasher-Winthrop Fire Department plans to host a four-person captain and crew scramble style golf tournament on Sunday, Sept. 19.
The event, held at Meadowbrook Country Club, 9757 U.S. Highway 11, in Winthrop, will cost $240 to enter a four-person team. The fee includes green fees, carts and lunch.
Check in for the event will be 7 a.m. Shotgun start will be 8 a.m.
There will be contests for both men and women during the event, including longest drive, closest to the pin and straightest drive. There will be a $5 mulligan.
Registration is highly recommended, but not mandatory, by Sept. 6 as spots fill up fast.
