BRASHER — The Brasher Falls Central School Hall of Fame Committee has decided to move the ceremony back to the high school Auditorium for this year.
This will provide for more space for social distancing. Masks will be required at all times.
There will also be a gathering afterward at The American Legion in Winthrop for drinks and finger foods.
The ceremony is set for Saturday, Oct. 16 beginning at noon with a football game with introductions of the Class of 2021 Hall of Fame at halftime.
At 5 p.m. the SLC High School School doors will open for people to view the Wall of Fame and tour the school grounds.
The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony begins at 6 p.m. in the HS auditorium
The gathering at The American Legion starts at 8 p.m.
Hall of Fame Class of 2021
Athletes being inducted include Rick Williams ‘70, Steve Huff ‘86, Bill Jones ‘97, Abby Lynch ‘06, Jack Keenan ‘10, Cody Kilcoyne ‘10, Mary Lyon-McLaughlin ‘84, Coach/Contributor William Scharf; Teams: 1977 and 1978 sheer teams, 2008 and 2009 softball Teams and a special tribute to former Hall of Fame Committee member William “Bill” Demo.
