Book club, storytime, book sale planned at Norwood library

NORWOOD – Canning supplies, games, robot kits and early literacy kits, as well as print and ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, DVDs and CDs are available to borrow for free at Norwood Public Library.

Norwood Library staff will assist in registering online for a North Country Library System card to access these free materials from any library in the four-county North Country Library System.

“True Crime Book Club” is meeting the first Tuesday each month. September’s book is “Terror in the Adirondacks”, by author Lawrence P. Gooley, who is visiting Sept. 6 to discuss his book.

The Friends of the Norwood Public Library will be holding a $3 bag sale at the annual Fall Festival on the Norwood Green Sept. 17 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Library Hoots Storytime meets on Fridays at 10:30 p.m. for an early literacy program the includes stories, songs and crafts. No registration is needed.
