The American Red Cross is calling on healthy St. Lawrence County blood donors during Red Cross Month.

People who donate between March 15-26 will receive a free Red Cross t-shirt, while supplies last.

Below is a list of upcoming blood drives in St. Lawrence County over the coming weeks:

Canton

March 31: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Morley Wesleyan Church, 7254 Cty Rd 27; March 31, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Best Western University Inn, 90 E Main St.

Gouverneur

March 15: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Gouverneur Elks, 1419 US Highway 11; March 18, noon - 4:30 p.m., Gouverneur Community Center, 4673 NY-58.

Hammond

March 22: 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Hammond Central School, 51 South Main Street

Lisbon

March 16: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department, 7002 County Route 10

Massena

March 17: Noon - 5:30 p.m., St Lawrence Centre, 6100 State Route 37; March 30, noon - 4 p.m., Massena Moose Lodge #1110, 4 Ames St

Norwood

March 19: 1-5:30 p.m., Village of Norwood, 15 South Main Street

Ogdensburg

Potsdam

March 15: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Potsdam AmVets Post #282, 6771 US Highway 11; March 23, noon - 6 p.m., Potsdam High School, 29 Leroy St.; March 24: 12:30-6 p.m., Potsdam Presbyterian Church, 42 Elm St.

A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
