CANTON -- Parishioners of St. Mary’s and community members and friends in Canton, Morley, Clay, Rensselaer Falls, DeKalb, Pyrites, Hermon, Russell and the North Country are invited to the Blessing of the Pets on the front lawn of St. Mary’s Church, 68 Court St., Sunday, Oct. 4 starting at 11 a.m.
The annual blessing of pets and other animals is celebrated each year on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
The public is invited to bring their furry (and not so furry) pets and animals to be blessed on the front lawn of the church.
Masks should be worn and social distancing norms will be observed. Call 315-386-2543 for more information.
