MASSENA -- There will be a presentation of bee houses made by 10 youth members from the Boys & Girls Club of Massena in grades 3-6 on Wednesday, May 15 from 6-7 p.m. at the club, 30 Bayley Rd.
The youth who had a strong interest in STEM activities were recently selected to participate in the construction and design of individual bee houses for what's known as pollinator bees.
In collaboration with Wayne Samphier from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe Environment Division, these youth actively participated in the project which was held every Thursday for five weeks at the club.
At the presentation, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and beverages will be provided. Please RSVP at bgcmdirector@gmail.com for food planning purposes.
