MASSENA -- The Massena Rod & Gun Club is sponsoring a basic handgun course on Aug. 22, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
This course is an NRA Certified Course being presented by Retlaw Personal Defense.
The course is designed for prospective and current gun owners on the safe and proper way of handling a handgun.
The course is comprised of classroom hands-on instructions and live fire on the range.
This course can be used to apply for a pistol permit and/or have restrictions lifted.
All students will receive a certificate upon successfully completing the course.
