CANTON — The St. Lawrence University 2022-23 Writers Series presents Viebranz Visiting Professor Dr. Okey Ndibe on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m. in the Sykes Common Room.
The event is free, open to the public
Ndibe is the author of the novels “Arrows of Rain, Foreign Gods, Inc.,” and “Never Look an American in the Eye,” and winner of the 2017 Connecticut Book Award for Nonfiction and a Hartford Courant Best Book of the Year.
An award-winning journalist, Ndibe taught at St. Lawrence as the 2017-2018 Viebranz Visiting Professor and has taught as a Fulbright scholar at the University of Lagos, and as a visiting professor at Brown University, Connecticut College, Bard College at Simon's Rock, Trinity College, Connecticut.
