CANTON — The TAUNY Center on Main Street will host the From Fleece to Yarn workshop on Saturdays, January 7, 14 and 21, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
In this workshop, Tilly Lind will show how to work with wool starting with raw fleece straight off the sheep and ending with handspun yarn ready to be incorporated into your craft projects.
There is a $45 registration fee, registration is required. Limit of 12 participants. The $45 fee covers all sessions and materials. Students can bring home the wool they process and are welcome to bring their own wool and tools and/or use those provided.
This workshop is part of an ongoing fiber arts educational series at The TAUNY Center. This workshop will be offered again in spring 2023.
